What a major service covers
A major service is a thorough, professional service of your air conditioner. Each service typically includes:
- ✓Clean or replace the filters
- ✓Clean the indoor unit, evaporator coil and fan
- ✓Clean the outdoor condenser coil
- ✓Check and clear the condensate drain and tray
- ✓Check refrigerant gas pressures and levels
- ✓Inspect and tighten electrical connections; check the thermostat and controls
- ✓Test cooling and heating performance and inspect for leaks
- ✓Final operational test
Refrigerant: a gas-level check is included. If your unit is low on refrigerant or has a leak, the regas (and any repair) is quoted separately — we always confirm with you before any extra work.
COVID-19 disinfection option: adds an antimicrobial sanitising treatment of the unit (the SMACOV option on the midwall service above).
