Van Biljoens Appliance Services & Air Conditioning has served Pretoria since 1956. Three generations of technical expertise stand behind every installation, repair and quotation we deliver.
We are an air conditioning, refrigeration and appliance specialist. We supply and install leading air conditioning brands, build and service cold rooms, look after commercial and industrial refrigeration, and repair domestic appliances through our own workshop in Gezina, Pretoria.
Our approach is straightforward: assess the situation, recommend what is genuinely right for it, quote transparently, and stand behind the work. That is how we have kept customers for decades.

Appliance Repair Workshop

1. Booking & drop-off / collection
Bring your appliance to our Gezina workshop, or arrange our collection and delivery service. A transport charge applies when we collect and deliver.

2. Assessment
An upfront assessment fee of R300 is paid at drop-off. It covers inspection, testing and diagnosis of the appliance.

3. Quotation
We provide a written quotation, typically within 1–3 working days (depending on suppliers confirming pricing and the availability of spares).

4. Your approval
No repair work begins until you approve the quote. If you accept, the R300 assessment fee is deducted from the repair cost.

5. Repair, testing & return
Approved repairs are carried out, tested and quality-checked, then the appliance is ready for collection or delivery. If a repair is declined or the appliance is not repairable, the assessment fee is non-refundable; for collected items, transport plus the assessment fee applies.
Service Area
We serve the complete Pretoria region and surrounding areas, including Centurion. We do not cover the whole of Gauteng province.
