- –Pipe and cable runs beyond a basic back-to-back layout, or trunking over distance
- –Distribution-board (DB) work, dedicated circuits and the Certificate of Compliance
- –Core drilling through difficult structures, crane or scaffolding access
This 32,000 BTU inverter unit needs a dedicated circuit.
Because it draws more than a standard wall socket allows, it must be connected to your distribution board (DB) by a registered electrician on its own circuit.
In South Africa this is electrical installation work that requires a Certificate of Compliance (SANS 10142-1 / the Electrical Installation Regulations).
You arrange this connection with your own registered electrician — it is not part of the back-to-back installation price.
